Another terror attack hit London late last night. The words terrorism and Islamic extremism have only been mentioned by our PM so far but I don’t think it takes a genius to work out that it was just one (or in this case three) sick tw*t.
It is a very sad day. I have thought not only of those victims and all those friends and families who will have been caught up by these tragic events last night, but also the events of Manchester just a couple of weeks ago and previous to that the other London Bridge attack.
The pressure is certainly starting to mount in the UK as to how the PM should react. Tough words are sounded but actions are what are on the minds of many today.
However, I believe it’s the actions of all those that protected and saved lives last night that has to be praised and honoured. And their deeds need to be kept at the forefront as the full detail of these attacks is told. For I believe it is here that the greatest difference can be made by the very people who can have the most far-reaching and longer-lasting impact.
